Pick My Next Chi Chi London Dress

So, you all know how I much I love Chi Chi London, right?

Just on the off-chance that you answered “no” to that: I LOVE Chi Chi London. They were one of my favourite brands of 2015, and I know it’s only February, but I’m pretty sure they’ll be making this year’s list, too. Just a hunch.

Naturally, then, when they offered to send me a dress to style, I did a little happy dance, and then I sat down, scrolled through the dresses on offer, and thought, “OMG, how on EARTH am I supposed to choose?” I mean, it’s a tough one, isn’t it? (And yes, I’m very, very lucky to have this particular problem to solve, and I know it..) – especially given that the dress that would probably have been my first choice is out of stock in my size: oh, the humanity!  Anyway, as I said, I had a good old look, and I just couldn’t do it, so I’ve decided to hand the decision over to you, and let you guys choose a dress for me to style.

The dress you choose will be worn out to dinner during my upcoming holiday, so it’s not a “just for the blog” dress, but a real life dress. THIS IS NOT A DRILL, PEOPLE: YOUR VOTE COUNTS! Speaking of voting, you’ll find each of the contenders below: all you have to do is pick the one you like best, and place your vote in the poll at the bottom of the page – oh, and if you want to tell me the reason for your vote, you can do that in the comments box, too. So! Here they are: and because I don’t want to influence you in any way, these are in no particular order, and presented without  comment: you may notice a bit of a floral theme, though…

01. Jemma

02. Stevie

03. NalaChi Chi London Nala dress

04. Shay

05. Justice

The poll closes at midday on Monday, and in the (hopefully unlikely) event of a draw, I’ll give the deciding vote to Terry. I REALLY want YOU to choose, though, so please cast your vote – I’m counting on you!

It is so hard, I love them all! Jemma has the most beautiful shape, Stevie has such pretty colours, but I voted for Shay. Shape, colour, and I think the floaty skirt will look fantastic on you.

I vote for Justice! I mean the dress, of course, but for justice in general too… just to clarify! Something about those colours makes me think of Tenerife, and the Canaries in general.

I literally saw you in Jemma without even trying, but they are all so pretty ? I got a chi chi dress recently for a wedding and it was so gorgeous, definitely a take me to the oscars dress! I ended up returning it as it wasn’t the best fit sadly but for a moment I had such ball gown dreams! Sigh… Xx

My mum has just ordered the Stevie dress. It fits so well, is really feminine and the skirt falls so well – the fabric is to die for. I’m after the lottie dress next ❤️❤️

  • How cool is that?? Every dress is absolutely beautiful. I voted for Nala because I’m obsessed with this beautiful pastel purple colour right now.

  • Can I just say I found this as hard as trying to pick a dress for myself; that’s probably because I ended up picking just the one I liked the most and wanted to wear and realised I gave you little thought at all… But I picked Jemma and for what it’s worth I think you’d look great in it!

I voted Shay – the color is perfect for you. Plus it’s all floaty and the hemline treatment is wonderful.

I voted for justice because I like the skirt length (possibly slightly shorter than the others?) and also because the floral design has a little more of a colour contrast compared to the others. I like this slightly bolder print on a still romantic dress. I also love the blue with your hair colour… are those enough reasons? 😉

The one I voted for, is the one I think you would suit best because of your colouring! SHAY! Jemma was a close second.

I voted for Shay because the pattern and colours were beautiful and seemed very spring like. I loved the length and the pretty fluted border is perfect for a holiday in the sun. It has an unfussy neckline – perfect.

I voted for Shay because it’s the one I’ve been following for about a month. Oh, and it would look good on you, and it’s kind of green….. So, win?

  • I voted for Shay because of the length and hemline. I love the higher necklines in front with a lower back, too, so if Shay had Justice’s bodice, it would be perfect. The fabric of Shay is different enough to be not-your-standard-floral-print and I like the brown branchy effect.

  • Ooooh the results are pretty close! I went for Justice, I love the colours!

I’ve only recently discovered Chi Chi London, I spotted a friend wearing a stunning dress on Facebook and I loved it. I was so impressed by the site my bridesmaids will be wearing “Nia” on my wedding day in September (so excited!!!). I was so jealous when the dresses turned up that for a moment I almost felt sad I’m the bride – I want one! To make up for it I’m thinking about treating myself to “Amber” (OMG you need that one!!!) to wear at my friend’s wedding next month!

  • Jemma and Justice were a tie for me. Choosing between them was a real pain. I don’t want to be in your shoes when you have to finalize your decision.

Nala and Jemma look like they would be fabulous on you, but Shay… it’s just so feminine and beautiful, I think you should try it!

  • I loved both nala and jemma but went with nala as I feel like it was a bit different to your normal colours and would look so nice against your hair and skin tone. Whichever one you buy – could you mention in your post about how the padding is in the top? It’s what has always put me off buying any of their things because I hate the foam stuff – it’s not like it’s offering any support!

    February 13, 2016
  • I love all of the florals and any one will suit you, but for some reason the Nala lilac simplicity was calling my name – surprised it’s in third actually,I thought everyone would go for a print! I also love Jemma.

I loved them all and I am male. I just took delivery of a Chi Chi dress in the 2017 sale, (Cassia) and it looks beautiful on me. Their site gives me hours of enjoyment imagining wearing their dresses to a formal event. I think that the Gemma or shay dress would look perfect on you although I prefer the justice dress for myself.
