Hairconditioner A State of Emergency was declared at Dollface Towers tonight as I discovered I’d run out of my Henna and Horsechestnut Conditioner from Boots.  Well, OK, I exaggerate – but only a little bit.  This is one of those fabulous little products that never make it onto TV, or get talked about in salons, but which are just really good at doing their jobs, for very little money.

In this case, the price is just £1.99, and the job is to deep-condition your hair. Because this product contains henna, it’s best used on darker hair – there’s a version with coconut that’ll work with fairer shades. My hair is red, and this leaves it wonderfully soft and shiny. It’s an intensive conditioner, so you’re supposed to leave it in for 10 – 15 minutes for best results. Because I’m lazy, I generally only leave it on for the time it takes me to shave my legs in the shower, and it still does a fabulous job of conditioning my hair, making it well worth the £1.99 I spend on it.

Dollface Says: A fabulous, budget conditioner that doesn’t give a "budget" effect.
