I told you I was obsessed.
It’s worse than I thought, people. It looks like I’m not JUST obsessed with gingham skirts: I’m also obsessed with wearing them with this ASOS top, almost as if there are no other clothes in the closet. There are, of course, (and I promise this top had been washed since its last appearance!), but I do like a bardot-style top: so much so, in fact, that I might just buy some more of them.
Speaking of buying some more of things you already have, those of you with good memories might recall that I do already own a gingham skirt, and be wondering why on earth I needed ANOTHER one. It’s a good question, and the answer has three parts to it:
1. You can NEVER have too many gingham skirts, FACT.
2. My other one is red, whereas this one is pink: TOTALLY DIFFERENT.
3. My other one is much longer and fuller, which means that, as much as I love it, it can be a little on the dressy/costumey side if you’re not careful. This one is a little bit shorter, and a little bit less dramatic, which means it’s easier to wear with more casual looks. (Not that this is a particularly “casual” look of course, but you know what I mean. I hope)
The Easter weekend was miraculously sunny (Which made a nice change from last year, when it was snowing), so it was perfect “gingham” weather. Well, that’s MY excuse, anyway…[Wearing: ASOS off-shoulder top // Primark gingham circle skirt (this one is more expensive, but so pretty) // Paul & Betty shoes c/o Sarenza // Miu Miu sunglasses c/o Sunglasses shop // RED Valentino handbag]
