Simple Style, Take 2
Well, whaddya know…
… just one day after me complaining that my new Boden shirt wasn’t going to turn up until May, according to the website… my new Boden shirt turned up. Huh.
Of course, if I was even remotely superstitious, I’d say I’d somehow made this happen, simply by wishing it was so. I’d probably also say something like, “And also, that billion pound cheque I ordered hasn’t turned up either!” and then sit and wait for THAT one to happen. As I’m NOT remotely superstitious, however, I’ll simply note that the timing was particularly good, because I was having one of those, “I have absolutely nothing to wear, WAH!” mornings (No one mention all of the many, many things I have to wear, please), and the shirt neatly solved that little problem.
From this, you’ll have correctly deduced that I’m keeping it, obviously. I wasn’t sure I was going to back when I wrote this post, purely because I’d already bought one polka dot shirt that month and, well, two seems a bit excessive, doesn’t it? Still, I think when you want to wear a new item of clothing the second it arrives, that’s probably a good sign it’s a keeper, so keep it I will. After all, the other one I bought is a different colour, so I actually DO need both, don’t I? And I’m going to keep on telling myself that, no matter what…

Super cute! This is a great look.
But now we need to see what the shirt looks like without the jacket 🙂

Love those sunglasses! Such a pretty casual outfit too, so glad it’s now leather jacket weather!

I love your usual dressy style, but your simple style that you have going on right now is style goals. I’m so in love and it makes me want to go shopping for great simple pieces.

Love the shirt! And of course you need more than one polka one – what if the other is in the wash for example?! 😉
