Miss Cherry Pie
I think at this point we should probably all take a moment to stop whatever we’re doing and give September a standing ovation.
September, you’ve been AWESOME. And, I mean, I know you’re not quite over yet, which means you could still decide to snow on us or something, but you won’t, will you? I trust you, September. I’ll admit, I had my doubts when you started. I’ve never really liked you in the past. But this year, you’ve done us proud, and I think we can all agree that, no matter what you have planned for your final fling, you’re going to be a hard act to follow. I hope you’re reading this, October…
This dress is another one I didn’t think I’d be wearing this year: or not like this, anyway. When it arrived, I imagined I’d probably have to wear it with tights, boots, and maybe my biker jacket: I probably WILL wear it like that, when the weather finally gets cold enough for all of those OMGLAYERS, but we’re not quite there yet, so here it is with the obvious red shoes and cherry brooch. It had to be done…

Two posts in two days – you’re spoiling us! You have a knack for making me want to comment, and this time it’s to say a) I also can’t believe how amazing September has been, kind of makes me wish we’d just skipped August and gone straight for the good stuff and b) another win for Chic Wish! Can’t believe the nice stuff they make and the fact I only first heard of them on your blog a few months ago. I feel like I’ve been living under a fashion rock.

Yes October ARE YOU LISTENING?! I really want some sunshine on my birthday. September has been great on general

September is often awesome. I sit on the rain on aug 29th (my bday) then sunny September mocks me all month… Ha ha! It’s been super down in Hampshire, long may it continue. Although all my plants died because I forgot to water them…

What a beautiful dress. Random question – is the wind helping holding your skirt shape in the second picture? And if not, how do you hold it so evenly?! 🙂
Amber
It was being helped by the wind!

Oh, September has been fabulous, hasn’t it?
My husband and I recently relocated to the UK, and we haven’t yet experienced one drop of rain – it’s a miracle!
I’ll take non-layering weather any day – I’m ruing the day when I have to put on tights and a winter jacket 🙁
You look absolutely beautiful, as usual, Amber! Thanks for sharing 🙂
