I’m Getting Married in the Morning

Aaargh, getting married in the morning, folks! One sleep to go! Unfortunately, such is the level of anxiety caused by the imminent departure of my doggie for Las Vegas, combined with the fear of flying I mentioned in my last entry, that I’m not sure just how much sleep I’ll get exactly, but, you know…

I’m staying with my parents tonight, while Terry stays here on his own. We are all about tradition, you see. I wonder how much mess he’ll be able to make in the few hours he’ll be in the house alone and awake?

Anyway, our bags are packed, we’re ready to go and all that jazz, and I’m heading off soon to have my nails done, so goodbye, farewell, and let’s hope my plane doesn’t crash! Will speak to you all when I’m married!

P.S. I write a weekly diary which goes out every Friday to my subscribers. Sign up below to get on the list...

The groom has entered the building! 3am and I think I have everything ready for the big day 🙂 (Including following Amber instructions to the T! Put the bin out, get rid of my t-shirt on the radiator, tidy the wii stuff, sweep the kitchen, put the bin out then put it out again)

I am home alone and Amber is with her parents for tonight (say awww) No doubt Amber will read this in the morning and be like "what the hell were you doing up at 3am", well honey don't worry I am off to my beddybies now. Look forward to seeing you walk down the red carpet. Just remember if you are more than 35 seconds late I am leaving

MOB here, that's wedding speak for mother of the bride to give you all an update on the big day. The wedding started 25 minutes late, the handsome groom was still waiting for his beautiful bride and the mother and father of the bride cried most of the way through the ceremony. The happy couple are now on their honeymoon after surviving a near crash landing at Lanzarote airport. All in all a magical and memorable day which will stay with us forever. Thanks for all your good wishes.

Congratulations! Glad to hear the wedding was a success, although near crash? Eek! That's not going to improve your stress levels any for the flight back, is it? Well, you could just stay in Lanzarote forever, that wouldn't be so bad . . . only I need the conclusion to the Nigel Saga.

Okay, my year has been completely out of control so far and I haven't been over here in aaaages and OMG you're married! Seriously, I leave you along for TWO SECONDS and you go all matrimonial on me.

Congratulations, darling. I hope it was perfect, and can't wait to see the pictures.

Maybe as a wedding present to me, you can fix your RSS feed? (Or is it me who's supposed to give you a gift….)

  • I remember my day as the groom. Terrified! Why? I don't know. Remember – it's your day. Enjoy every minute. Next thing is kids
