OUTFIT | Trenchcoat Weather
Back in January, I bought myself a puffa jacket from Zara, purely because it would not stop snowing, and my usual collection of non-waterproof wool coats just weren’t cutting it in that kind of weather.
A puffa jacket, people.
I bought a freaking PUFFA JACKET.
And I was like, “OK, I have a new baby and an endless winter to get through: I guess this is where I just give up on style, then?”
Yeah, Amber, it was.
Here’s the thing though: I absolutely LOVE that damn puffa jacket. And, I mean, at the time, I thought it would probably turn out to be a pretty bad investment, really, because it was the end of January at that point, and surely Spring would come soon, right?
Wrong.
Instead, winter just went on, and on and ON, and I wore the hell out of that puffa jacket. And, like I said, I love it. It’s warm. It’s snuggly. It’s waterproof. And, as of this week, it’s consigned to the back of the cupboard, because I’m declaring it to be trench coat weather. I mean, it’s not REALLY, obviously: in fact, it’s still pretty cold outside. But I have a large collection of trench coats, and I WILL wear them, so here’s the first trench coat of the new season – with many more to come.
I’ll, er, probably be moving the puffa jacket back to the front of the cupboard again just as soon as I finish writing this blog post, though. Well, I don’t want to tempt fate, do I?
WEARING:
Pink trench – Zara (from last year, but this one from ASOS is really similar)

Hi. That is a darling coat.
I have a question. I usually get notified by facebook that you have a new post. That hasn’t happened in a while. Have you changed the way you use facebook?
Thanks
Amber
Nope, but Facebook can be a bit buggy, unfortunately, so sometimes it doesn’t publish them for some reason! (It’s all done automatically, so I never look at it!)

I love this trench!
I have a navy one from Asos that I love wearing in the Spring.
Pity it’s still so cold at the moment. I don’t know where Spring is hiding!!!!

I have just bought a pink trenchcoat as well and I have banished my winter coat to the back of the closet and I refuse to wear anything else but my new pink trenchcoat from now on. If I dress like it’s spring, the weather will follow, right?

My trench still hasn´t been to the dry cleaner! (And yes I planned on giving it there at the end of autumn, but life happened.)

haha GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE! I was just putting my blog together for weekend and it is about trench coats :}
By the way – love the pink on you x

Thank you for answering my question. I don’t mind searching directly for your site. This is how I start my days!

Looking awesome. This trench is looking good on you, Amber.

I have a trench too, but in a different color – blue. The one you are wearing looks so feminine. Love it.
