The 12 Days of Christmas Outfits: Day 11 – Umm…
OK, I’m just going to be honest with you: I kinda ran out of Christmas-inspired outfits.
(Other than the one I have planned for tomorrow, that is: it’s the MOST Christmassy dress of all, seriously…)
I mean, I guess there are a few things I could’ve worn today that would’ve been a little more “festive” than this polka dot wiggle dress, but they’re all things I’ve featured fairly recently, and, well, I just wanted to wear this dress, OK? It IS Christmas, after all, and if you can’t wear a new dress at Christmas time, I just don’t know what the world is coming to.
On the plus side, I guess at least this proves my closet isn’t quite as impractical as I’d thought it was. It’s still pretty impractical, obviously, but if I DID have 12 outfits that screamed “CHRISTMAS!”, that wouldn’t leave much room for regular clothes, would it? Mind you, it would definitely have made this little series a whole lot easier, but oh well: there’s always next year! And until then, there’s this dress, which will also work for spring, summer, and… you get the idea.
Oh, and I never thought I’d say it, but this outfit was partly inspired by Terry’s attempt to dress me a few weeks ago, which reminded me of the existence of this belt. It came with a dress which I got rid of years ago: I kept the belt, though, because I figured it might come in handy, and whaddya know – it did!
