Happy Thanksgiving, American readers!

Happy Thursday, everyone else!

Although we obviously don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK, I kinda wish we did: it’s always seemed to me to be a bit like Christmas, but without the pressure to spend a small fortune on Boots gifts sets and other random items that will be stuck in a drawer before being re-gifted, and what’s not to love about that?

Anyway, I thought today would be as appropriate as any for me to give thanks to this month’s sponsors. As most of you know, advertising is what makes this site possible, so please say hello to this month’s sponsors, who are…

Younique

Vivienne McComb/Younique

I know Vivienne personally, and have been following her Younique journey for a while now. The 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara she sells looks like my dream mascara (seriously, look at those lashes!), so I can’t wait to try it out: look out for a review sometime soon!

charee mag

Charee

Charee is an online magazine aimed at women, and on my first visit there, I immediately got sucked in for ages, reading their refreshingly honest posts about fashion, beauty and lifestyle. They’re also giving away a range of beauty products this month, and there’s still time to enter!

lensway

Lensway

Lensway sell prescription eyeglasses, including a huge selection of my favourite cat’s eye styles. I love these frames by Michael Kors– so retro!

WOW celeb

Wow Celeb

Wow Celeb is an online dress boutique, stocking a small range of celebrity-inspired dresses. My favourite is the ‘Leyla’ pencil dress, which has the kind of classic shape and simple style I love!

This month I was also sent the lovely selection of floral displays at the top of the page, from Paper Whites. You’ll be seeing more of these in some of my upcoming posts, but they’ve really helped fill some of the blank spaces around the house. Their products are all designed and hand-made in Scotland, and they’re currently offering a 20% discount to Forever Amber readers: just enter the code FA20 at checkout, valid until December 31st! My selection includes the Agapanthus Gypsophila jug, rose mercury vase, vintage rose globe and the sweetpea, agapanthus and delphinium posy, but there’s plenty more to choose from on the website.

And that’s it for this month! If you’d like your site to appear in the next sponsor’s roundup, you can find the current advertising rates and statistics for the site here. Have a happy Thanksgiving/Thursday!

Love that you’re advertising Smythson, seriously upmarket 🙂

I think that must be a Google advert you’re seeing, Myra – I don’t have any kind of relationship with Smythson, unfortunately 🙂
