A Sunday in South Queensferry

What’s this? A causal outfit, and it’s not even Friday? I’m just showing off now, huh?

These photos were taken yesterday, when Terry and I headed to South Queensferry, to have brunch with some friends. South Queensferry is actually where we got married, so we have a bit of a soft spot for the place, especially considering how awesome it is for a bit  of Fashion Blogger Posing:

This is Terry’s ‘Fashion Blogger’ pose, although, to be honest, he’s actually been doing this since before fashion blogging was even a “thing”. We call it his “Catalogue Man” pose, and it’s almost impossible to get a photo of him where he’s NOT pretending to be in a catalogue. This is the “staring off into the distance” variation, but he also does a good “pretending to look at my watch” pose, too. We’ll save that one for another day, though.

We had brunch at The Railbridge Bistro, which is right on the water, and has a little model of the Forth Bridge (complete with toy train) inside, which proved very popular with the younger members of the group, and also with me, really, because I’m pretty easily amused.

Pretty good way to spend a Sunday: roll on next weekend…
